  • Unknown – Debut of the Grampian Television current affairs programme Crossfire.

  • Unknown – Scotland Today is given an overhaul to give the programme a more ad hoc approach to news, something which attracts a lot of criticism.

  • Unknown – STV airs Scotland's Story, a 24-part series on the history of Scotland.[1]
