The Sanshinzan Chōhō-ji (長保寺) is a temple of the Tendai sect in Kainan, Wakayama Prefecture, Japan.
It was established by Emperor Ichijō's instruction in 1000.


Chōhō-ji's Main Hall, Pagoda and Daimon are National Treasure of Japan.

  • Main Hall - National Treasure of Japan. It was rebuilt in 1311.


  • Pagoda - National Treasure of Japan. It was rebuilt in 1357.


  • Daimon - National Treasure of Japan. It was rebuilt in 1388.

  • Chinjudo - Important Cultural Property. It was rebuilt in Kamakura period.

  • Otamaya - It was rebuilt in 1666.
