森格尔环形山（Saenger）是月球背面赤道区一座古老的大撞击坑，约形成于39.2-38.5亿年前的酒海纪[1]，其名称取自奥地利航空航天工程师"尤金·森格尔"(Eugen Saenger，1905年-1964年)，1970年被国际天文学联合会批准接受。

该陨坑西北偏西毗邻埃罗环形山、北面坐落了莫伊谢耶夫环形山、花拉子密环形山和福克斯陨石坑分别位于它的东北和西南，而南面横亘了萨哈环形山，森格尔环形山的西北则濒临界海[2]。该陨坑中心月面坐标为4°29′N 102°48′E / 4.49°N 102.8°E / 4.49; 102.8，直径74.57公里[3]，深度约2.77公里[1]。
森格尔环形山的外观形状不太规则，因存续期长而经受了后期撞击的严重侵蚀，其轮廓几乎与周边背景地形难以区别。它的北侧坑壁重叠在卫星坑"森格尔 B"之上，而反过来，其西北、东北和西南侧又分别覆盖了卫星坑"森格尔 V"、"森格尔 D"、"森格尔 P"和"森格尔 Q"，其中"森格尔 Q"横跨在更大的"森格尔 P"及森格尔环形山之上。森格尔环形山坑壁最大高出周边地形1320米[1]，内部容积约为5037公里3[1]。碗状的坑底相对平缓，除显示有一些细小的穴坑外，表面没有其它醒目的地貌结构，但紧挨它的西侧坐落有一座年轻且带有明亮射纹系统的无名小陨坑。
卫星陨石坑
按惯例，最靠近森格尔环形山的卫星坑在月图上将在其中心点旁放置一字母来标注它们。
