阿拉伯之冬[1][2][3][4][5]是在阿拉伯之春抗议活动后的阿拉伯世界发生的各种大规模的暴力和动荡，主要包括：
叙利亚内战[6][7]
伊斯兰国崛起[8]及伊拉克内战[9]
埃及危机[10] 和西奈半岛动乱
也门动荡[11]，後導致葉門內戰 (2015年至今)- 利比亞內戰 (2014年至今)
- 敘利亞內戰對黎巴嫩的影響
對阿拉伯世界以外的影響包括恐怖組織伊斯兰国在歐美等地策動或煽動恐怖襲擊、歐洲移民危機等。[8]
复旦大学中国研究院院长张维为在2011年6月与弗朗西斯·福山（他相信，阿拉伯之春可能蔓延到中国）的辩论中，首次预言“阿拉伯之冬”[12]。张维为说：“一半的年轻人没有就业，不造反行吗？而且我自己对中东的了解使我得出这样的结论，西方千万不要太高兴，这会给美国的利益会带来很多的问题。现在叫中东的春天，我看不久就要变成中东的冬天。[13]”
