伯明翰环形山（Birmingham）是位于月球正面北极的一座大撞击坑，约形成于45.5-39.2亿年前的前酒海纪[1]，其名称取自十九世纪爱尔兰天文学家约翰·伯明翰（John Birmingham，1816年-1884年），1935年被国际天文学联合会正式批准接受。

月球轨道器4号在太阳斜照时，拍摄的包含了伯明翰环形北侧边缘在内的大部分区域图。
伯明翰环形山在月球上的位置
该陨坑位于冷海南面，西侧毗邻丰特内勒陨石坑、东北靠近伊壁琴尼环形山、威·邦德环形山坐落在它的东面，东南偏南则是较小的蒂迈欧陨石坑[2]。
该陨坑中心月面坐标为65°07′N 10°42′W / 65.12°N 10.7°W / 65.12; -10.7，直径89.92公里[3]，深度约2.83公里[1]。
伯明翰环形山几乎已完全损毁，整个原始残壁现已成为一圈环熔岩坑底的不规则低矮、崎岖的山脊。坑底表面异常粗糙坎坷，散布着数座细小的撞击坑以及一系列平行的山脊，坑内坐落了一座高约300米的小中央峰。该陨坑坑壁最大高出周边地形1420米[1]，内部容积约有7762立方千米[1]。
由于该陨坑地处月球北半部，从地球上看，其形状会产生扭曲。当阳光斜照时，可较清楚地观察到坑内巨石散落的细节。
